Rewritten concept
concept for the light rail stop aesthetic lightness (fornes)
concept for the stop in its urban context purity of the whole without recognisable parts (niemeyer)
electroliquid aggregation aesthetic lightness of form blending seamlessly with the whole

Aesthetic lightness conveys the idea of a building seeming small or lightweight through structure or appearance. This can be achieved through materials, textures, colour and design. This concept is based of the works of Marc Fornes who creates structures that appear to be thin and easily shiftable. Both the materials used and the design of these structures (being incredibly porous and vibrant) contribute to this.

The concept of the purity of the whole without recognisable parts is conceived by the notion of a cohesive and uninterrupted building, and is based off Oscar Niemeyer's architecture. His architecture often seems larger than it actually is through the lack of recognisable elements (such as doors), and they appear more like sculptures than buildings.

Aesthetic lightness of form blending seamlessly with the whole is my electroliquid aggregation where structure should appear lightweight and blend with the context.
